Under the direct supervision of the Sulphides Project Director, the Project Engineering Manager will be responsible for the overall planning, coordination, execution, and control of all engineering activities related to the MUMI Sulphide Project which include a sulphide concentrator and sulphating roaster (roasting package, crushing, grinding, flotation, thickening, filtration, tailings interface, utilities, and associated infrastructure). As the Project develops through the FS phase the scope may be expanded to include a Tailings Storage Facility, mining infrastructure and electrical power supply.
The role ensures engineering delivery is in accordance with approved scope, schedule, budget, safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Profil recherché
- National Diploma/Degree or equivalent in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Process, or related field)
- Master's degree preferred
- Undergraduate or post graduate qualification in civil or infrastructure engineering is beneficial
- Professional ECSA registration (advantageous).
Required Experience:
- Minimum 10–15 years of engineering experience.
- Minimum 5 years in an engineering or project management leadership type role
- Experience in Mining / Processing Plant / Construction / Industrial Projects required.
- Proven experience in process plant engineering and construction (advantageous)
- Experience in Africa / remote site environments (preferred)
- Experience is required working for an Engineering Procurement and Construction Management company (EPCM) as well as taking a leadership role in a Client Owners Team.
