Our client, one of the leading agro-industrial companies in the DRC, is seeking a Workshop & Agriculture operations Manager for its Lubumbashi farm. The Workshop & Agriculture operations Manager is responsible for supervising mechanics, electricians, welders, service mechanics, and workshop assistants as well as supporting seasonal operations (planting, harvesting).
Missions & Responsibilities :
- Operations Support planning and execution of daily and weekly maintenance schedules for: Tractors and agricultural machinery Trucks, light vehicles, trailers Yellow machines (dozers, loaders, excavators)
- Ensure preventive maintenance and servicing is carried out on time
- Supervise mechanics, electricians, welders, service mechanics, and workshop assistants
- Support training and skill development of workshop staff
- Support workshop store management
- Monitor spare parts usage
- Maintain accurate records for: Maintenance and repair jobs
- Prepare daily and weekly operational reports for management
Profil recherché
- Proven experience in searching, identifying, and verifying spare parts using online catalogues, manufacturer databases, and digital parts manuals (CLAAS, John Deere, etc.)
- Solid management skills
- Strong organizational skills for managing high-volume stock.
- Experience in agricultural workshops, especially with heavy-equipment parts.
- Fluent in English
- Good mastery of Excel
